Romsey Ladies 4s 1–2 Trojans Ladies 5s
A tough result but plenty of positives as Romsey Ladies 4s kicked off the season with a strong performance against Trojans Ladies 5s. Trojans held a 2–1 lead at half-time, and despite an intense and hard-fought second half, Romsey couldn't find the equaliser. The team showed great determination throughout, making it an exciting game to watch from start to finish.
With several new players making their debut, the team spirit and teamwork on display were fantastic and something to build on for the season ahead. A special mention goes to Penny, who was deservedly awarded Player of the Match for her incredible assists and ability to create chances in the Trojans defence. Plenty to be proud of from the first game – bring on training on Thursday and another match on Saturday. Well played, everyone! 💙🏑👏
