U14 girl’s played their best match of the season against New Milton on Sunday. Although the win was only 2-1, Romsey were the controlling team. Playing in a formation which the girls had practised in their recent matches, their confidence was evident as they were more persistent than ever in their tackles for the ball. The goals were scored by Lydia Kearney. Coach, Carly Peebles named players of the match as Georgia Appleby and Lydia Kearney.
Currently top of division two, with only one league game to play, the team are hopeful of moving up to division one for the next season.
