Due to holidays and school trips,  Romsey had to field a much changed team  particularly in defence with Thomas Edwards in goal, Art Barcia at centre back and Ed Roberts at sweeper but in truth they had little to do as most of the play was in the Andover final third.   The final 12- 0 score line did not flatter the team and in reality could have been much, much more, with many missed chances and air shots in the first half.  Andover  could not deal with the speed of the forwards – with Harry Croft Baker and Matchy Lincoln marrurading up and down the flanks,  and centre forwards Jake Rowland and Zack Cooper using all of the skills and speed to tear Andover to pieces  and they  scored 7 goals between them-with Rowland getting 4.

As usual Tom Croft Baker and Ben Davidson drove forward from midfield and Croft Baker scored one – as did his younger brother – but it was Davidson who  tried so very  hard to score and frequently beat 2 or 3 players and was very unlucky not to register his first goal of the season with numerous shots from to the edge of the D being blocked or saved.

As the goals continued to fly in, the team played with more and more confidence and spread play between them all, but with 10 minutes to go the biggest cheer of the match came when Ollie Bryant (having swapped positions with Zack Cooper) scored his first ever goal for Romsey.

A great end to a very good season, giving hope and confidence for next year.
