Romsey were ruthless on Sunday against a less experienced Andover. The first half saw Romsey putting immense pressure on the Andover defence ending up with 5-0 by half time. Poller carved through multiple Andover players and ended up with 4 goals for her efforts. Williams worked hard all game taking the ball up the wing and delivering it to the eager Romsey attackers. Salib and Lawson showed great movement in the Andover D to outsmart the defenders and both were rewarded with a goal apiece.

Cool, effective stick work and thoughtful play were the order of the day from Henderson and James who both controlled the game feeding the ball around the field to the rest of the team and both were rewarded with a brace of gaols.

The second half started with some more aggressive attacking for Andover who mounted some good attacks from their young but skilled forwards, but the Romsey defence led by Hebert and Alavi was rock solid never really allowing the door open to the Romsey goal.

At the final whistle a 10- 0 win for Romsey was deserved, a great start to the season.
